Tricky to say - could be one
Tricky to say - could be one of the very similar-looking Bombus vosnesenskii or B. californicus. Too much yellow for B. vandykei or B. caliginosus, I think. I suppose it could even be B. insularis, but with no black on the midline in those yellow segments of the abdomen it seems less likely. These species form a mimicry complex that makes them tricky to tell apart!
