9748 - Plagiomimicus spumosum
Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma, USA
August 25, 2006
My best identification from pinned specimens on the MPG site.
Found at UV light near pond in wooded area of a flood plain.

I think so
P. manti (1, 2) occurs in Texas and maybe Oklahoma, but the bend in its PM line seems farther from the costa, and the line looks more curved than in P. spumosum (1, 2, 3, and in the second link to manti above).

I found photos of 13 of the 17 Plagiomimicus species listed at All-Leps, but none of the others look close to this one, and I think the possibility of this one being one of the 4 species not pictured is pretty small.

Thanks
Thanks for information and the useful links for future searches.

P. spumosum
I just found out that this one is in Covell's Guide, page 138. He calls it Frothy Moth and lists it as Stibadium spumosum.
