Eupeodes (Metasyrphus) sp. female

ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Lisa.

This female is near E. americanus, but there are about 3 species in this complex whose females cannot be reliably told apart.

Eupeodes subgenus Metasyrphus

Eupeodes subgenus Metasyrphus - straight R4+5 vein, hairless eyes, and marginated abdomen with black border diagnose this genus. Glad to see they're out and about!
