That would make sense
H. dorsalis is the one I usually see around here but this particular one appears a little different. Can't put my finger on what exactly. Thank you Ron!

Cleveland National Forest looks promising
Trabuco Canyon, more specifically, but the gate's been closed recently. Yeah, the vegetation is odd. Normally the hills are covered with mustard in March. Virtually nada this year.

 
Happy hunting
when the gates open. Maybe the small amount of rain helped that area. Few in bloom here but that may be why I'm finding more organisms since I'm stalking the few flowers available.
