correct on both counts
I believe the ones in the Bighorns are refered to subspecies "blackmorei", though further west that subspecies tends to have the dark markings more developed. This one also leans a bit toward C. acastus in pattern, but has the creamy, slightly yellowish underside of C. palla. In the Rockies the two "species" do seem to blend a bit where they meet, and it can get confusing. Usually it is C. palla in the mountains and C. palla out in the sagebrush country, but the habitats blend a bit too.
