the one you mention looks quite different:

note the widening [vs tapering] snout w/open dorsal scrobes [vs lateral slot-like ones], the prominent shoulders [meaning it's a flier], the greenish vestiture, etc.

I've only started photographing weevils recently and I see there 's a good learning curve. Thanks for the additional info. Paul
