I've experience rearing this one from North!
In 80s doing research on mushroom flies I reared this spp from mushrooms in NE Ohio; I do not have photos but ID confirmed by the late Ben Foote and collections of it were in Kent State Univ fly collection and no doubt now at Carnegie Mellon.
