Nothing terribly obvious in most photos
These Stenolophina genera are sometimes difficult to tell apart from photos. Seeing the bottom of the head (mentum toothed or not) can be useful. This species is, superficially, somewhat similar to Stenolophus ochropezus (mostly in the general pattern of dark elytra with a more or less pale first interval), but smaller and lacks the iridescence on the elytra.
