Small Moth - Mesoleuca gratulata
Half way between Umpqua and Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
March 11, 2014
Size: about .75 in
This pretty little moth spends many minutes on the wing. Most just fly off. Then one finally landed on a pussy willow and we were able to photograph it.

Thank you Marcia! I must have spent an hour trying to find it on Bug Guide last night. I do try to find them myself!… What a great name it has: Gratulata means ' to express joy or gratification at the sight of …. spring!
