Hydrophilid - Paracymus

Hydrophilid - Paracymus
Middlebury, Addison County, Vermont, USA
March 11, 2014
Found on the snow in a wet meadow.

Paracymus sp., female
Moved from Water Scavenger Beetles. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

Difficult to tell species from a female. P. subcupreus is likely but cannot be confirmed.

Anacaenini, i suppose

Paracymus?
It was a small one, around 2mm. I saved the specimen, so we should know for sure eventually.
