Named after the type locality, Revis Hill Priaire in Mason County, Illinois

Presently known from Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota
Food
Monophagous on leadplant, Amorpha cansecens (Fabaceae); larva ties leaflets together along a single leaf, feeds within the shelter thus constructed; feeding damage becomes visible as brown blotches on exterior of shelter
Life Cycle
Two generations per year; final-instar larva overwinters; pupates, emerges as adult, and mates in spring (central Illinois); first larval generation pupates, emerges as adult, and mates in early summer; second larval generation develops to final instar by midsummer, then overwinters
