Size: 20 mm
Found on a lighted wall during the day. Wing chord measured at 9 mm, giving an estimate of 20 mm for wingspan. Thanks for help on identification--see comments.

Probably 9016 - Cobubatha antonita
... sorry I didn't look earlier at the western plates at MPG to see what else was out there. The pattern shown by your moth looks very much like 9016, but I can't find a reference closer than southeastern Arizona (many of the same moths do show up in the Rio Grande valley).
