Amiocentrus aspilus - voucher specimens, in alcohol - Amiocentrus aspilus

Size: Larva 9 mm, case 12 mm
The larvae are fairly abundant at this time of year. They prefer a slow current and are most commonly found on floating or submerged stems of Ludwigia. Additional pictures of larvae and cases can be seen here (1).
