Donacaula sordidella - Donacaula sordidellus - Brazos Bend St. Park, near, Fort Bend County, Texas, USA March 25, 2014
In reading the species acounts by Martinez, 2010, it looks like there are 20 species in TX and east LA. She also says that the wing pattern of sordidella, ravella, maximella & porrectella are similar. So I did the male genitalia and found that sordidella was the only one that matched the wing pattern and genitalia as in her excellent article. This specimen was captured just outside the state park at a light.
