Sawfly? - Macroxyela ferruginea
Lenexa, Johnson County, Kansas, USA
April 3, 2014
Size: ~8 mm
Sitting on a post on a cooler/damp morning in a woodland/remnant tallgrass prairie area. The antennae are quite distinctive, but did not find a match on BG so far. I'm assuming this is a sawfly.
