Red bees - Nomada
Patuxent Research Refuge North Tract, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
April 5, 2014
Bright red-orange abdomens of these bees were obvious in flight, which stayed to within a few inches of the ground. Found a couple yards from a pond shore surrounded by woods.
