Ceresa - Stictocephala basalis

Ceresa - Stictocephala basalis
Lanoraie, Lanaudière County, Quebec, Canada
July 30, 2006

I wonder why it doesn’t get rid of the mite. Is it a kind of mutual symbiosis?
