We stopped to have lunch along the Lochsa River, at Mocus Point, where the umbellifers were full of longhorned flower beetles and tumbling flower beetles.

The smaller black ones are some Mordella sp..

 
Didn't spot
My eyes are just not up to the task of finding that beetle in this image, although I do see the black mordellids standing out nicely on these white flowers. I'm also curious about the identity of the cerambycid in the middle of the frame. I doubt if Yanega's book would have it since it deals with northeastern longhorned beetle species.
