We drove a short way down the mountain and hiked out one of the crosscountry trails, where we found this cute guy resting on the trailside ferns.

Can you really identify these to genus?
If so, there are several dozen pages of Ichneumons, all waiting for additional identification information.

I think that I see an ovipositor, so this guy must be a gal :-)
