Some kind of Wind Scorpion

Some kind of Wind Scorpion
El Paso/Fort Bliss in a bathtub, Texas, USA
July 15, 1993
Size: 1 and 1/2 inches
Always found these pseudo-scorpions wandering around the drain in the bathtub. They are not poisonous, but they will give a NASTY bite as you can see by the jaws.

I am a bit of a n00b...
but thanks for the information. I hated finding those things in my bath tub...I have a bit of Arachniphobia.

aka
in Arizona as "sun spider" or "solpugid".

Not pseudo-scorpion.
While it may be gramatically correct to call such a creature a pseudo-scorpion it is apt to confuse the uninitiated because there is another even more scorpion-like group called pseudoscorpions.
