Phidippus audax
What you have is a Phidippus audax or bold jumper. Very common. I have tons in my neighborhood. They have gorgeous chelicera. Kind of an iridescent green/blue. This is mature. Orange spots are indicators of maturity. White spots are usually juveniles. Kudos on the bravery. I could never hold one. Jumping spiders tend to have a hard bite.

Thanks for confirmation. Kind
Thanks for confirmation. Kinda funny, jumping spiders are one of the kinds of spiders that I always pick up. I've never been bitten, but I always let them crawl on to me, so maybe they never feel threatened. I thought it was fun as a kid to have them jump back and forth between my hands.
