This is a Chrysanthrax. It appears to be the same as a species occurring north into southern Alberta. I'm not sure what name to apply to it. There are specimens in the CNC identified as "Villa" costata (Say). (Villa used to include most of the genera of the Villini). The species matches Say's incomplete description to some extent, but it's hard to be confident. The type of costata is also lost, so determining the correct application of the name will probably require a revision of the group and designation of a neotype. One of Coquillett's names (C. anna) could possibly also apply.
