Found this beautifully colored butterfly but only got one shot before it was gone! Hope this is enough. It was visiting clusters of blue eyed Mary (Collinsia verna)

Blue-eyed Mary's are gorgeous and I haven't seen them for a longtime.

I usually see them on blackberry blossoms in AR..
So I hope to see one soon. You live in a great Buggin area. Keep it up.

 
Oklahoma is packed!
We have more insects here than I ever imagined. Every time I walk around the yard something new seems to pop up. Missed a great wooly caterpillar on butterweed opportunity today. A few beetles mating on a dandelion flew just before I focused. I'll be posting here all year long.
