OK, a specimen was sent to me with this corresponding number. The specimen was griseus, but this image does not really look like griseus to me...
Brad forwarded me another specimen with this same number and that beetle I think is what was imaged here (and does not appear to be griseus). I am not sure what the specimen I first examined corresponds to...
But I will assume the second specimen, the one that was forwarded via Brad, is this specimen. I feel better because this image does not grab me for griseus
