candefacta? - Tarache toddi
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
April 10, 2014
Size: ~12mm
Came to UV light. Looks most like candefacta but, the wing pattern not exactly the same to me.

Moved
Moved from Ponometia.

Nice!
Thanks Jan!

Tarache toddi
That is a moth from a related genus Tarache. Obviuosly belongs to the Tarache areli species group. Paper with the revision of the group is available online here. Nearly white basal area of forewings and locality suggest it is Tarache toddi, which is a new species for BugGuide.
