Globular Springtail - Dicyrtomina minuta

Globular Springtail - Dicyrtomina minuta
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
December 25, 2006
Size: between 1mm and 2mm
I found this one on the wall on the North side of my house after a rain.

Moved from Dicyrtomina.

Per comments made on another site:
On my Flicker account,
This is apparently a form of Dicyrtomina minuta, that in Europe is called D. saundersi. (What I mean to say is that this is possibly D. saundersi, which in America is a synonym of D. minuta).
