Date?
Did you really find this bug on Dec. 27? If not, please, change the date. Otherwise, it would be nice if you commented: Was it indoors, or was it unusually warm?
I wonder whether they hibernate as nymphs or what.

Nearly adult assassin bug.
This is a nearly adult assassin bug in the genus Zelus. The front legs (and often the middle legs, too) are covered in sticky hairs that help them hold onto their prey. Neat animals.
