Identification

Tarsi "type 2" (last tarsomere long, abruptly broadened apically and longer than basal tarsomeres combined; claws large)

Elytral markings not embracing umbone, usually narrowed medially and occasionally interrupted

Femora distinctly granulate

Antennae, palps, and tarsi pale, not distinctly darkened

Pronontal granules large, distinct
