Except that now...
...we have a brand new editor who actually knows these critters (info
here
).
I'm not sure why he didn't move your first submission. Perhaps it couldn't be taken any further, or perhaps he simply overlooked it, or didn't get to it yet. Feel free to shoot him an email and ask.

Strigamia bothriopus
Based on the bright red color and ~53 segments, definitely bothriopus.
I just hadn't got around to this one, if you have a centipede that hasn't been moved in a few days feel free to shoot me an e-mail and I'll take a look.
Also, quite a few geophilomorphs on here, perhaps even most, just can't be identified to species. Some species are distinctive, like bothriopus, but others require a more detailed look at features like the mouthparts, the terminal legs, etc. There are many more species than guides for this group, although when I find time to take microscopic photos of some of my specimen this will change.

I think the image to which he was referring...
...is this one:
It's been languishing at the order level for over three years. I've given it a bit of a crop so it's easier for others to view.

Yeah I've seen that one
and I'm afraid it's not going to species anytime soon, sorry. I feel comfortable putting it in the family Geophilidae though.
