Size: 4-5mm
Found under the bark of a large dead conifer that fell about 20 feet from where I was standing...
Looks something like Lyctus but that's just a guess.

Lyctus sp.
will guess planicollis - seems to be the most common western sp. and as I recall most of the others are more distinctly setose.
