I'm guessing this is the female, and the male (my next post) is the spider that was sitting less than a foot away.???
I estimate the body to have been about 5/8", and the leg span just over 2".

Sorry, the eye pattern had me fooled. I should have recognized the body pattern, but I guess being first of season, I'm a bit rusty.
