Orussid - Orussus occidentalis
Chico Basin Ranch, El Paso County, Colorado, USA
April 21, 2014
Size: ~10 mm
Three or four specimens were running around on an enormous old cottonwood log in a riparian area and windbreak at the ranch (which stretches across both El Paso and Pueblo Counties). Most of the habitat is heavily degraded shortgrass prairie.
