Tiny things on Thistle

Tiny things on Thistle

They are all over the stem of a thistle. Most look like empty exuvia but one looks like he is emerging. Looks like aphids to me but I haven't seen these before.I look forward to comments on this. Thank you.

Aphidiinae…
Looks like the exit holes of these parasitic wasps which attack aphids (aphid mummies). Looks like an aphid graveyard.
