brown recluse positively id in TAMPA Florida

Dr. Edwards, you owe me an apology. I am still ill from the brown recluse that bit me June 17, 2011. I have parvovirus B19, perivascular lymphocyte infiltrates and AFIB that when googled together says I have Myocarditis. You and all you spider experts need to change your tune as you are killing people. contact me at I will share with anyone, but no haters please. Also I saw the spider and brushed it off me, so I am very sure of the systemic reaction I had. We need to warn people not tell them the spiders are not here and are not dangerous.

We have...
records of Mediterranean Recluses (Loxosceles rufescens) from Tampa. If you have images of a Brown Recluse (Loxosceles reclusa) positively IDed from Tampa please submit them with some information on how you got your spider IDed to species and we'll make a record of it. I don't know what G.B. Edwards told you, however since I've started volunteering here a few years ago I and a handful of others have been careful not to call most species "harmless", and speak up whenever we see others doing it to remind them that everyone's immune system is different. What may be harmless to most may be harmful to someone with an allergy or compromised immune system. I hope you start feeling better.

Do you have images of the spider that bite you?
