Brachiacantha felina (Fabricius), female
ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Lisa.
This ended up being female, not male.

Brachiacantha felina - male
The shape is more rotund than other species of "5-spot" Brachiacantha, and the bright red spots are typical of B. felina.
The white "face" and white markings on the pronotum indicate that this is a male.
There aren't many photos of this species on BG, it's great to have these!
