Prionus laticollis
The New York record caught my attention. I've not personally seen Prionus pocularis north of Maryland so thought this might represent a significant range extension. But, unfortunately not P. pocularis. That species has very large and closely spaced eyes. Compare to and . Prionus laticollis has smaller and more widely spaced eyes . This is P. laticollis. The prominent, almost pectinate antennae do indicate a male specimen.
