Hairs in front of front spiracle
Are there no, one, or many white hairs in front of the front spiracle? That area is obscured by the long hairs on back of the head.

At first I didn't think this was a Rhaphium because the antenna was more Argyra-like, with arista not apical. But there does not seem to be any such Argyra, all metallic with that leg color. It seems to go to insolitum in Robinson's 1964 key to Rhaphium. I do not have a description of that species.

Yes, I was also first thinkin
Yes, I was also first thinking Argyra, but was thrown by the bare scape and lack of silver on the abdomen. I'll have to take another look at the thoracic hairs when I have a chance... Thank you for your input!
