Dry Frio River, Real County, Texas, USA
May 4, 2014
The snout-beetle is on Justicia americana, Water-willow, on along the upper valley of the Dry Frio in southern Real County. The weevil looked very much like he was feeding on the soft tissue in the axil of a Water Willow leaf, which isn't a willow, but rather in the Acanthus Family. Appreciate any help in Iding this weevil.
