Dark form - Horama panthalon

Dark form - Horama panthalon
Bentsen State Park, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
December 22, 2006
Size: approximately 5/8"
Would appreciate help in identifying this moth. One suggestion is that it is an atypical form of Texas Wasp Moth (Horama panthalon). There were several panthalons in the area where this one was photographed but this one seemed a bit larger. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
