Tomocerus minor? - Pogonognathellus

Tomocerus minor? - Pogonognathellus
Thompsontown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 6, 2013
Just a guess based on my previous submission:

Moved
Moved from Springtails and allies.

A textbook example of an "unwarranted assumption." I'll have to look more closely the next time. On the positive side, at least I got the right family, and it's a new genus (for me).

Thanks, Frans!

Pogonognathellus sp.
Note the tapering antennae.
Tomocerus minor has a typically blue iridisation in low resolution macroshots.
