Near Laredo, Webb County, Texas, USA

Color pattern does not exactly match any of the subspecies currently in BugGuide for Variable Tiger Beetle.
Found on dry land in semi-arid South Texas.

The pits on the elytra
look like Cicindela punctulata but the maculations........
