Caterpillar ID Request - Hemileuca peigleri

I found this on the sidewalk at the Post Office today. I thought it looked like collected about 3 miles north of here. Might this be Hemileuca peiglari, Hodges # 7744.3?. I had an adult identified on our property last year. You cannot see it's head but it is red.
