Rachispoda barbata (Sabrosky), male
Moved from Rachispoda. ID'd from dissected male specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

This is a new state record per (1).

Genitalia match illustrations in Sabrosky (1949), although lacking the long hairs on the posterior lobe (perhaps from wear). The associated female is also this species, matching very well with the diagram of the dorsal plate/abdominal apex.

Great work Brad, identifying both a new state record and a new species for the guide!

Your welcome Tom
It helps that this family is relatively well known in our area. I alerted Dr Buck to the range extension.
