Rhamphomyia nasoni - female

Rhamphomyia nasoni - Female
Hancock County, Indiana, USA
May 3, 2014
Size: 5 mm
Mounted specimen. Looks a bit different than the fresh specimen.

A second female was found a couple days later.

A male Rhamphomyia was also taken nearby, and looks similar excepting it lacks the large darkened area on the wing. I do not know if the male of R. nasoni has been described (or matched with the female).
