"I looked at it again today with my colleague, Dr. Susan Romero, who knows Lygaeoidea better than I do. It would help if we could see some of the ventral features (e.g. bucculae). Still, we arrived at a consensus that it's almost certainly not Nysius, and is more likely Neortholomus sp., possibly the same species as

which I'm not sure is actually N. scolopax."
