ID Update:
This Nycteola specimen has been determined by BOLD Systems to be a distinct species from the five known species in North America. Also the DNA for this specimen is a 100% to 99.89% match with six other similar looking specimens that have been submitted to BOLD Systems; and, currently, these specimens are now placed at the species level as an undescribed species: Nycteola n. sp..
