Moved from Podabrus. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Lisa.

This is a large female @ 15 mm. Closest match I can find is D. cinctipennis (species page) using (1). Could easily be another species not in their key though.

maybe close to vernalis?
but not quite right; more accurate measurement is ~12.5 mm; same as your

nice one; the dull, subrectangular pronotum & narrow neck...
...distinguish it from the similarly colored P. tomentosus & P. fayi

hope Brad figures it out
might be one of the few species that do not range much farther north [which would surprise me, as the southeastern fauna is quite meager] or else a fancy color form of a more widespread species
