One of 2 found on a lit front porch near midnight. Temp at 58 degrees. Windy & rainy. No movement during the time observed.

Possibly....
There are several similarities to this species. In addition, many of the larval food plants (Sambucus, Carya, Syringa, Convolvulus, Fraxinus, Viburnum, & Helianthus) are all part of the landscape that I have.
Of course I have never seen them during the day, but that does not mean anything since I generally am asleep in the AM & work in the PM.
