Common Pinkband 1 - Ogdoconta cinereola
Victoria, Victoria County, Texas, USA
May 10, 2014
I found it feeding on a leaf of wild Sunflower.

Edit on May 20, 2014
I fed the caterpillar with leaves of sunflower.
Yesterday 19 May,2014, late evening, when I cleaned the box, I noticed a major change.
I took pictures today May 20, 2014. It look almost like yesterday late evening.
Yet the caterpillar is inactive, not feeding, but it looks good.
I do not know just molting or it will pupa. (?)

Edit on May 22, 2014
Photos taken on May 21, 2014: at noon and in the evening . Approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes difference between these pictures.
So, the photos taken on May 20, 2014 must show the prepupal stage.

Edit on June 11, 2014
During night time or very early in the morning it emerged
Duration pupa stage: 20 - 21 days
