Length about 5 mm; difficult to spot among dead leaves in oak savannah habitat but nothing else was moving that day. Shape and pattern very similar to Ligyrocoris diffusus at Cedar Creek.

We're wrong, big surprise:-)
Dr. Jane O'Donnell identifies this as Osophora picturata.
